For Chris Carman, cricket is more than a sport – it’s a tribe. And in Western Australia, there is no bigger tribe than the members of the WACA.
Chris believes cricket has a vital role in inspiring, connecting and uniting West Australians.
Now, he wants to contribute his skills and experience to strengthen the WACA for the benefit of its members and the future of the game.
Chris is the Managing Director of Benchmark Projects, one of the State’s leading project management consultancies.
With more than four decades’ experience delivering major infrastructure, residential developments and high-performance sporting facilities, he brings a wealth of expertise in governance, strategic planning, risk management and stakeholder relations.
Chris possesses a rare combination of skills: the deep knowledge of a long-standing WACA member and cricket tragic, combined with the professional rigour of a senior business leader trusted to deliver complex, multi-million-dollar projects.
This balance of passion and professionalism makes him uniquely placed to serve on the WACA Board.
